Project Manager
Description
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects pre-construction and construction activities according to deadlines and within budget. This role will be responsible for aggregating all projects in the pipeline to set strategic direction for the successful completion of all projects. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Responsibilities
Direct and manage pre-construction contractors through technical project diligence process
Negotiate project EPC and O&M documents
Draft and manage project budgets
Manage project schedules and variance
Review and manage interconnection agreements
Direct and manage land entitlement consultants
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and
devise contingency plans.
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Conduct research on project related development issues
Position Requirements
• Engineering or technical degree
• 3 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all
aspects of process development and execution.
• Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Solar experience a significant plus
